Semester's Design Portfolio Day

On the 29th of April 2011, the Department of Landscape Architecture will be having the semester's design portfolio day. A total of 165 students from Year 1 to Year 4 will present their drawings at their respective studios or at the Exhibition Hall in Block B03, Faculty of Built Environment. The project themes for the studios are as follow:


1. 1SBL at Level 1 Block 07: Landscape as Art by Dr Hasanuddin's studio
2. 1SBL at Level 1 Block 07: Landscape for Fun Learning by Dr Sapura's studio
3. 2SBL at Level 2 Block 05: Landscape for Correction Centers by Dr Jamil and Farid's studio
4. 2SBL at Level 2 Block 05: FELDA Community Landscape by Dr Sarofil and Dr Sirima's studio
5. 3SBL at Gallery Block 11: Landscape Resource Assessment and Planning for District of Kota Tinggi by   Wan, Ahmad Long, Dr Hamidah and Mahanum's studio
6. 4SBL at Exhibition Hall at Block 03: Final Comprehensive Projects presented by 31 students

All students and academics are invited to view the drawings from 9am to 4pm in the aforementioned venues.

36 Thailand Architectural Lecturers and Students joined UTM hosted International Architecture Collaboration Workshop 2014

JOHOR BAHRU, 27 October 2014 – The International Architecture Collaboration Workshop 2014 was organized through the collaboration between the Faculty of Built Environment of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Faculty of Architecture Rangsit University and Rajamangala University of Technology Thayaburi (RUTT), Thailand. The workshop was held at the Seminar Room, Centre for the Study of Built Environment in the Malay World (KALAM), Faculty of Built Environment, Johor Bahru campus.
