JOHOR BAHRU 12 Ogos – Seramai 250 ahli akademik terdiri daripada penyelidik dan pengamal bidang perancangan bandar tempatan dan antarabangsa menyertai Kongres Antarabangsa Asian Planning School Association (APSA) ke-13 di Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, di sini hari ini.
Naib Canselornya, Prof. Datuk Ir. Wahid Omar berkata, kongres selama tiga hari itu melibatkan perbincangan intelektual dan kritikal keadaan semasa dan hala tuju masa hadapan perbandaran serta perancangan bercirikan Asia.
Katanya, melalui APSA 2015, UTM mengambil peranan sebagai peneraju dalam menyumbang kepada rumusan satu Agenda Perbandaran Asia yang bakal menjadi panduan kepada pendidikan dan amalan perancangan rantau Asia dalam abad ke-21.
“Perumusan agenda perbandaran yang khusus kepada konteks Asia adalah penting dalam kita menjangkakan pelbagai isu khusus dan tahap perbandaran yang belum pernah terjadi di rantau ini dalam aspek kepelbagaian, intensiti, kompleksiti dan keaslian.

36 Thailand Architectural Lecturers and Students joined UTM hosted International Architecture Collaboration Workshop 2014

JOHOR BAHRU, 27 October 2014 – The International Architecture Collaboration Workshop 2014 was organized through the collaboration between the Faculty of Built Environment of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Faculty of Architecture Rangsit University and Rajamangala University of Technology Thayaburi (RUTT), Thailand.
