The Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta (UNS), Indonesia paid a reciprocal visit to the Faculty of Built Environment (FAB), UTM on 24 Nov. 2015; following and earlier visit from UTM management team (including the Dean of FAB) to UNS, Indonesia on 13 – 15 September, 2015. On campus to receive the delegates were Associate Professor (AP) Dr. Mohammed Rashid Embi, Deputy Dean for Research and Innovation (DDRI), FAB, AP Datin Dr. Norsiah Abd Aziz, Head of Department of Urban and Regional Planning, FAB, Dr. Abdul Halim Hussein, Head of Department of Architecture, FAB, Mr. Zainul Rashid Abu Bakar from UTM International and Dr. Ariva Sugandi Permana, Senior Lecturer, Department of Urban and Regional Planning, FAB.

The delegates from Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT), Japan and Department of Landscape Architecture, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor. The 1st International Exchange Workshop of Architecture and Urban Landscape Design were conducted on 4 – 11 th September 2015 between Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT), Japan and Department of Landscape Architecture, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in Johor. The workshop was participated by 9 students from third year architecture in SIT and also by 10 students from third year landscape architecture, UTM. 36 Thailand Architectural Lecturers and Students joined UTM hosted International Architecture Collaboration Workshop 2014

JOHOR BAHRU, 27 October 2014 – The International Architecture Collaboration Workshop 2014 was organized through the collaboration between the Faculty of Built Environment of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Faculty of Architecture Rangsit University and Rajamangala University of Technology Thayaburi (RUTT), Thailand.
