Dr. Mehdi and Team Won Gold Medal, Special Award and 4th. Best Project at MRCIE 2015

Dr. Mehdi Moeinaddini, Dr. Zahid Sultan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zaly Shah from Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Faculty of Built Environment (FAB) and Dr. Zohreh Asadi Shekari, a post doctoral researcher at Center for Innovative Planning and Development (CiPD), FAB, won three (3) awards – a gold medal, Special Award and 4th. Best Project at Malaysian Research Conference and Innovation Exhibition 2015 (MRCIE 2015) for their innovative Smart Environment Monitoring (SEM) device. The event was organised by the Research and Innovation Section,  UniKL, MITEC on 2nd. – 3rd. December 2015 at Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL), Malaysian Institute of Industrials Technology (MITEC), Persiaran Sinaran Ilmu, Bandar Seri Alam, Johor Bahru, Johor. Other team members that were involved in the project are Mahmood Safaei and Dr Hassan Chizari.

36 Thailand Architectural Lecturers and Students joined UTM hosted International Architecture Collaboration Workshop 2014

JOHOR BAHRU, 27 October 2014 – The International Architecture Collaboration Workshop 2014 was organized through the collaboration between the Faculty of Built Environment of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Faculty of Architecture Rangsit University and Rajamangala University of Technology Thayaburi (RUTT), Thailand.
