Director General, Federal Department of Town and Country Planning, Peninsular Malaysia Visits Alma Mater

The Director General of the Federal Department of Town and Country Planning, Peninsular Malaysia, YBhg. Dato’ Dr. Dolbani bin Mijan made an official visit to the Department of Urban and Regional Planning (DURP), Faculty of Built Environment (FAB), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor Bahru at 3.00 pm on the 26^th of April 2016. The Dean of FAB, Associate Professor Dr. Roslan Amirudin, Head of Department, DURP, Associate Professor Datin Dr. Norsiah Abd Aziz and all academic staff of DURP were on hand to receive the guest of honour. Dato’ Dr. Dolbani was briefed on the department’s research and consultancy activities by Professor Dr. Amran Hamzah, Director, Centre for Innovative Planning and Development (CiPD), FAB.

The 1st International Exchange Workshop of Architecture and Urban Landscape Design were conducted on 4 – 11 th September 2015 between Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT), Japan and Department of Landscape Architecture, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in Johor. The workshop was participated by 9 students from third year architecture in SIT and also by 10 students from third year landscape architecture, UTM. 36 Thailand Architectural Lecturers and Students joined UTM hosted International Architecture Collaboration Workshop 2014

JOHOR BAHRU, 27 October 2014 – The International Architecture Collaboration Workshop 2014 was organized through the collaboration between the Faculty of Built Environment of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Faculty of Architecture Rangsit University and Rajamangala University of Technology Thayaburi (RUTT), Thailand. The workshop was held at the Seminar Room, Centre for the Study of Built Environment in the Malay World (KALAM), Faculty of Built Environment, Johor Bahru campus.
