Going beyond Science and Policy to Action(Science to Action, S2A): UTM-LCAR Organised 1st. Pasir Gudang Low Carbon Society / Green Smart City Focus Group Discussion (FGD)



The Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Faculty of Built Environment, UTM Johor Bahru organised the1stPasirGudang Low Carbon Society / Green Smart City Focus Group Discussion (FGD) involving key departmental officials from Majlis Perbandaran PasirGudang (MPPG) on the 10th March 2015.
The half day FGD held at the Convention Hall B12, Faculty of Built Environment was attended by a highly committed team of 26MPPG Heads of Departments and officials led by the Yang Dipertua (YDP) of MPPG, Y.Bhg. Encik Md. Za’nal Bin Hj. Misran and the SetiausahaMajlis, Y.Bhg. En. Saipol Rahman Bin Hj. Ahmad.

Department of Landscape Architecture CSR program with Form Five students from Sekolah Menengah Kayu Ara Pasong at Mukim Api Api, Pontian. Ten students from SBEL1414 and Dr Ismail Said conducted the motivational field program with 29 school children and assisted by Penghulu Mukim Api Api, Mohammad Ali. The program was held at Tanjung Piai National Park on 17 March 2017 from 8:00am to 12:00 pm
