On 27 October 2016, 41 students from SBEL1404 visited the garden of Puan Mega Suria Hashim at Setia Tropika Residence. This field visit is part of precedent study on a project HOME GARDEN. The tropical outlook of the garden is composed of a variety of flowering trees, shrubs and climbers. Accent feature is a cluster of lotus in a large urn positioned beside the living room of Mega's residence. The gate is crafted with stainless steel with distinctive Monstera leaf motif. It was designed and constructed by Ayob Ismail.
36 Thailand Architectural Lecturers and Students joined UTM hosted International Architecture Collaboration Workshop 2014
JOHOR BAHRU, 27 October 2014 – The International Architecture Collaboration Workshop 2014 was organized through the collaboration between the Faculty of Built Environment of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Faculty of Architecture Rangsit University and Rajamangala University of Technology Thayaburi (RUTT), Thailand. The workshop was held at the Seminar Room, Centre for the Study of Built Environment in the Malay World (KALAM), Faculty of Built Environment, Johor Bahru campus.
